Our Commitment to Sustainability

Beautiful mountains and lakes in Ireland - sustainability at WAZP

At WAZP, sustainability isn't just a buzzword—it's at the core of everything we do. Building greener and more environment-friendly production and supply chain processes is one of our fundamental values.

We're dedicated to creating a more sustainable future and ensuring a safer planet for everyone.

We are reminded daily of our love of nature and why we persevere in improving our sustainability efforts by the place our team calls home, Ireland.

3D Printing a Greener Future

3D printing is not only transforming manufacturing processes but also playing a significant role in promoting sustainability.

Here’s how Additive Manufacturing contributes to a greener future and why it’s an eco-friendly alternative to traditional manufacturing methods.

Ethically sourced materials

All our products are crafted from 100% recycled materials, ensuring that your unique creations have a positive impact on the environment.

One of the most widely used materials is recycled PLA, made from cornstarch, which serves as a much more eco-friendly alternative to traditional materials.

Producing on demand means we only print the amount of products you need and when you need it.

This approach ensures a perfect demand and supply match, eliminating overproduction and reducing the number of products that end up in landfills.

That’s how we ensure you get what you need when you need it without harming our beautiful planet.

On-demand production

Additional Manufacturing allows for precise material usage.

Unlike traditional manufacturing methods, 3D printing is an additive process, building objects layer by layer only where material is needed.  This precision significantly reduces the amount of wasted material, conserving resources and minimizing landfill contributions.

Less is more

Local manufacturing

We pride ourselves on being a local manufacturer, producing our 3D printed products in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

By producing items on-demand and closer to the point of use, we reduce the need for long-distance shipping and transportation, which are significant contributors to carbon emissions.

This localized approach reduces the overall environmental footprint of production.

Longer Product Life Cycle

3D printing allows us to produce higher-quality and longer-lasting products that are customized and precisely tailored items.

This customisation reduces the need for frequent replacements and overproduction, contributing to a reduction in overall resource consumption.
